Electrochemistry and Sensor Research Laboratory (ESAL)
Research currently being carried out and planned in our laboratory includes:
• Electrochemical, voltammetric and potentiometric analyses
• Preparation and applications of ion-selective modified electrodes
• Development and applications of selective electrochemical (bio)sensors for different groups;
• Metal analysis in body fluids using electrochemical sensors;
• Development of biomedical electrochemical sensors;
• Drug analysis using molecularly imprinted electrodes;
• Studies are being conducted on the investigation of the electrochemical properties of drugs.
• Furthermore, research is being carried out on the preparation and development of biomedical electrochemical sensors sensitive to specific types of drugs used in the treatment of cancer, which poses a significant threat to public health.
• Analyses are being carried out on drug, serum, blood, urine and synthetic domestic wastewater samples using the prepared biomedical sensors.
• The aim is to ensure speed and practical usability in the routine determination of drug efficacy throughout the course of the disease.
