Undergraduate education

Undergraduate education in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering started at Süleyman Demirel University in the 2010-2011 academic year. With the law published in the Official Gazette No. 30425 dated May 18, 2018, Isparta Applied Applications will be implemented starting from the 2018-2019 academic year. It continues under the name of University of Sciences. The Electrical-Electronics Engineering program is an undergraduate program that implements a one-term industrial workplace training model with sufficient science and mathematics courses, high practical skills, project-based, sector-related, long industrial internships and completed under the supervision of an engineer/academic. In the department curriculum, 7 semesters of education are provided in our department and 1 semester in the workplace. In order to ensure specialization, elective technical courses are included starting from the 5th semester. Prospective engineer students are given Workplace Training in the industry under the supervision of engineers and academicians for a semester in their senior year. In addition, students of our department do summer internships for 30 days in the field of Basic Electrical and Electronics, 15 days in the field of Automation and 15 days in the field of Energy Applications.


Postgraduate

Our department has started to accept students for the Master's Program in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Süleyman Demirel University, Institute of Science and Technology, as of the 2013-2014 Academic Year Fall semester. Since the Fall semester of the 2018-2019 Academic Year, our Master's Program continues in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Isparta University of Applied Sciences Graduate Education Institute. With the decision taken by the Higher Education Executive Board dated 12.06.2019, it was deemed appropriate to open the Doctoral Program in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and courses have started in the Doctoral Program in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering as of the 2019-2020 Fall semester.

The department staff includes 4 professors, 1 associate professor, 4 assistant professors, 6 research assistants and 1 faculty member.


Laboratories

Our department has laboratories for Analog and Digital Electronics, Microcomputer Digital Signal Processing, Electrical Machines, Power Electronics, Automation Systems, and Computers.
