"An online webinar titled 'Current Technologies and Applications Within the Scope of Industry 4.0' was organized by the Department of Computer Engineering and the MÜDÜT student community on November 21, 2023, at 13:00 in the Faculty of Technology conference hall. The webinar was conducted by Dr. Zeki KIRAL, the Industry 4.0 Coordinator at Dokuz Eylül University. Dr. Kökten Ulaş BİRANT and Dr. Mehmet Hilal ÖZCANHAN also made significant contributions to the webinar with their sharing and participation on the topic. During the webinar, participants were provided with important information about the historical development of the concept of Industry 4.0, its technologies, opportunities it offers, its impact on the world, as well as its effects on industry, production, and society. Current information was shared about the position and activities of our country, institutions, industry, and entrepreneurs in the Industry 4.0 processes. Participants were also informed about the opportunities and incentives that working in Industry 4.0 technologies can bring."
